OWS teachers and staff possess an uncommon appreciation for creativity, thinking skills and the extraordinary potential of our students. They are committed to providing a rigorous academic curriculum along with opportunities for problem solving and independent thinking. Working together and individually, our teachers develop the program in the context of current educational research, state guidelines, as well as a deep understanding of the needs of our students. In addition to academic skills, they know the importance of cultivating judgment, self-discipline and good organizational skills.

OWS teachers are encouraged to continue their professional growth on an annual basis through workshops, course work and other opportunities. In addition, they are active in valuable committee work to benefit all aspects of the school.
